We are thrilled to welcome Manikrishna Lakavathu to the team as a Research Ireland and DCU co-funded PhD student. Manikrishna graduated in 2025 from IISER Thiruvananthapuram, India, with a BS-MS (Integrated Master’s) degree in Chemistry.

On 22nd July, we had the pleasure of welcoming Prof. Hyun-Seog Roh and his PhD student Bong-Gyeong Shin from the Department of Environmental and Energy Engineering at Yonsei University, Republic of Korea, to DCU.

We are delighted to welcome Claudia Carminati to the Giordani Group! Claudia is in the 3rd year of her Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology at University of Milano-Bicocca in Milan, Italy. Her academic interests span pharmaceutics, immunology, and cancer therapy.
