Soumakanya Ram earned her BSc in Chemistry from Presidency University, Kolkata, West Bengal in 2021, and went on to complete her MS ( research) in Chemistry at IISER, Thiruvananthapuram, India, in 2024. She joins our group as an SFI-funded PhD student (no. : 22/FFP-A/11067), working on the project titled “Bio-Inspired Functionalisation of Nanoplatforms for Targeted Delivery of Therapeutics.” Soumakanya is passionate about Organic Synthesis, cancer therapy and biology with her research focusing on the synthesis of the therapeutic agent used in the project along with biological aspects of this.
