"Biodegradability of Carbon Nano-Onions by Human Myeloperoxidase and Photo-Fenton Process" is selected for the ChemNanoMat Reader's Choice 2025

We are pleased to announce that our publication, “Biodegradability of Carbon Nano-Onions by Human Myeloperoxidase and Photo-Fenton Process,” has been selected for the ChemNanoMat Reader’s Choice 2025 collection. The work was also featured on the front cover of ChemNanoMat, Volume 10, Issue 6, upon its publication in 2024. (Aces)
Conducted through a collaboration between the Giordani Group at Dublin City University and Dr Rajendra Kurapati’s group at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram, the study investigates the degradation of pristine and oxidised carbon nano-onions through three oxidative pathways: human myeloperoxidase, horseradish peroxidase and the photo-Fenton process.
