We are delighted to share that Prof. Silvia Giordani was recently invited to deliver a keynote presentation at the 3rd International Conference EDGE-Tech 2026, held from 24–26 June 2026 at CNR NANOTEC, Campus Ecotekne, Lecce, Italy.

The conference brought together leading researchers, innovators, and young scientists from the international community to discuss emerging and disruptive technologies across areas including nanotechnology, biosensors, microfluidics, advanced materials, diagnostics, and biomedical applications.

Prof. Giordani’s keynote contribution contributed to the rich scientific programme of the event, fostering discussion and exchange around innovative approaches for next-generation biomedical technologies.

A distinctive feature of EDGE-Tech 2026 was its strong commitment to fostering the involvement of early-career researchers. Young scientists were actively engaged as session chairs, creating valuable opportunities for leadership, scientific discussion, and professional growth; an approach that represents an important investment in the future of research.

The conference was also recognised for promoting an inclusive and balanced scientific environment, with a strong representation of women researchers and speakers. This commitment to diversity and participation reflects the importance of building research communities where the next generation of scientists can thrive.

Beyond the scientific excellence, EDGE-Tech 2026 stood out for its welcoming atmosphere, meaningful networking opportunities, and the genuine spirit of collaboration among participants.

Prof. Giordani would like to thank the organisers for an outstanding event and for their exceptional attention to every detail, as well as all speakers, researchers, and young scientists who contributed to making the conference an inspiring platform for scientific exchange.

The event provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen existing collaborations and establish new connections within the international research community.

We look forward to continued collaborations and future opportunities to advance innovation in nanotechnology, sensing, materials, and biomedical technologies.
