Nanoparticles for Drug Delivery and Therapy Workshop We are pleased to announce that the final programme for the Nanoparticles for Drug Delivery and Therapy Workshop is now ready. The workshop will take place on 8-9 June 2026 at Dublin City University, Glasnevin Campus, bringing together national and international researchers and early-career scientists working on nanomedicine and developing therapeutic technologies.

The Giordani Group was delighted to participate in the 11th DCU Chemistry Day, organised by the Postgraduate Association of Chemistry, a vibrant celebration of research, collaboration, and innovation within the School of Chemical Sciences.

The Giordani Group had a strong presence at this year’s Research on Walls competition at Dublin City University, with PhD researchers Yingru Zhou and Aravind Kannoth Anilkumar presenting their research among 56 postgraduate participants from across the university.

The 2026 President’s Awards for Research were presented at a ceremony in the Helix Theatre on DCU’s Glasnevin campus on Thursday, 30 April. The awards recognise individuals and teams who consistently demonstrate excellence in research and make significant contributions to the university community and to addressing global challenges.

On 20 March 2026, the Nanoparticles for Drug Delivery & Therapy Workshop was held at Bangor University organised by our collaborator Prof. Zengbo Wang and his team. The programme featured a keynote lecture by Prof.

We are delighted to welcome Riccardo Ossanna as a Postdoctoral Researcher, supported by the Research Ireland Frontiers for the Future award. Riccardo obtained his BSc and MSc in Chemistry from the University of Trieste (Italy) in 2019 and 2022.
