Adalberto Camisasca

Postdoctoral Researcher

Adalberto Camisasca received his Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering in 2012 and his Master’s degree in Nanotechnology Engineering in 2015 from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. He carried out his doctoral research activity at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) in Genoa and Turin under the supervision of Prof. Silvia Giordani and was awarded the PhD in Sciences and Technologies of Chemistry and Materials from the University of Genova, Italy in 2019. During his PhD he carried out research visits at the Bio Nano Electronics Research Centre at Toyo University, Japan and at the DCU School of Chemical Sciences. Dr. Camisasca has been a postdoctoral researcher in the group of Prof. Silvia Giordani at Dublin City University (DCU), Ireland from 2019 to 2022. His main research interests are the synthesis, functionalization and characterization of carbon nanomaterials for bioimaging and for energy conversion.
